The Industry Software Sales team is the focal point for this effort within the this Software Group. The Company is aggressively building out this team of strong sales people who possess a unique combination of industry knowledge and a consultative, yet results-oriented, sales approach.
The The Company Financial Services Sector Industry SSR (FSS ISSR) is a consultative sales person who understands the unique business challenges of the FSS sector and is able to recommend software solutions to solve those challenges. The FSS ISSR has a firm grasp of software offerings from The Company and our business partners, and can creatively package these offerings into a comprehensive solution that meets a particular business objective. The FSS ISSR works directly with customer decision makers, sponsors, and key influences from the Line of Business, Information Technology, and Operations - thus becoming the de facto “trusted advisor” for the client on technology driven business transformation issues. The FSS ISSR proactively seeks opportunities, and then in coordination with the The Company team, follows through across the sales cycle, driving incremental revenue.
The typical Industry SSR has worked in or has been a consultant to the relevant industry and has a deep understanding of the business and operational issues that companies in that industry face. The Industry SSR also needs to master the The Company solutions portfolio for their industry. They differentiate themselves and The Company from the competition by combining their industry, software and solutions knowledge to clearly communicate The Company capabilities to business sponsors and IT - and win in the marketplace.
In addition, the Industry SSR knows how to use and team with specific The Company partners, Independent Software Vendors and Global Systems Integrators. The Industry SSR knows the top The Company partners in their industry and works with the sales executives at these firms, and experts within The Company, to pull together compelling solutions for customer decision makers. The Industry SSR also makes effective use of the The Company world wide sales and the development teams.

For the Industry SSR to be effective, they must make themselves an integral member of The Company teams covering their named accounts. The Company team includes The Company's Client Managers, The Company's Global Services, Coverage and Specialist software sellers, Architects, and their respective The Company's management teams. The Company team values the Industry SSR contribution because of the industry perspective they bring, the new relationships they develop, and ultimately the incremental software business they help drive.

Domain knowledge in key industries comprising the FSS sector - including but not limited to banking, financial markets (exchanges, depositories, investment/wealth managers, brokerage houses, RTAs), insurance (life, property & casualty / general insurance, health insurance), and non-banking finance corporations and integrated finance houses.

Consultative selling approach but results-oriented. Enjoys leading and supporting the software sales process.
