The company is a not-for-profit organization that provides a voice for people living with HIV and AIDS at local, regional and national leves in India, to facilitate change in care and support, access to treatment, reducing stigma, and discrimination in society.
You'll work to strengthen community awareness and combat discrimination. The aim of this 2-year job is to allow The company to develop professionally as an organization.
In India, more than 5.1 million people live with HIV and AIDS, more people than the entire population of Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Review current communications strategies, and devise new internal and external communications strategies
Set up an internal management information system
Ensue that all money received through donations is acknowledged and reported on
Create systems for collating information from all projects
Organize networking and information sharing events
Experience Required:
Qualified teacher with at least 3 years' experience in a similar communications management role
Experience of developing communications or PR strategies
Experience of mentoring colleagues would be preferable, though not essential.
Excellent presentation and networking skills
Flexibility, adaptability and a sense of humor are essential!
