Responsibilities:
Understanding the strategic plan of the organisation
Achieving and exceeding the targets set for the store on agreed variables (Sales, Margins, Sales per sq ft, Stock turns, etc & working towards reducing costs and other administrative expenses)
Monitoring the day to day store operations as per defined process / policy
Guardian of stock & stock accounting
Maintain service levels
Shrinkage control
Inventory management
Ensure all processes are properly maintained
Ensure timely delivery of materials at stores against proper requisition
Ensuring the availability of material for roll out
Coordination with Procurement team for material procurement & supply
Formulate strategies for identifying various sources & distribution
Maximizing sales and profits
Sales Forecasting, dispatch Planning
Managing procurement of all materials, streamlining the system & procedures for effective inventory control. Planning & budgeting of purchases', cost estimation, contract negotiations & finalization. Co-ordinating in & out of materials & record keeping.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Art, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Hotel Management or MBA/PGDBA/PGPM
Preferably candidates specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
Candidate with relevant experience of 6-7 years in FMCG/Retail industry
Should have handled materials/inventory at the region level for 2 to 4 yrs independently
Strong Warehouse exposure a must
Should have handled large number of SKUs
Should be able to handle large manpower
Strong interpersonal skills required
