A state of the art 230 bedded fast growing Cardiac Institute in Mumbai.
This is an ISO 9001:2000, NIAHO & JCI accredited hospital. The hospital has been set up with the aim to provide world – class cardiac care in India. The management team is led by eminent Doctors from India & abroad.
Responsibilities:
Assist the HR Manager in the administrative work related to recruitment and selection of Candidates for approved positions
Organizes and coordinates the pre-employment medical check up and ensures the Medicals including Infection Control where applicable is completed and found fit before the candidates join
Handles the joining formalities including issuance of ID cards, banking formalities, intimating insurance company for Medical Insurance
Also ensures that the copies of the professional certificate are obtained
In the case of Nurses collects the original certificates and keeps them in safe custody
Ensures proper upkeep of the personal folder of employees and also the records of ex-employees
Keeps record of the Medi claims filed with the Insurance company and tracks the Claim status
Provides the Manager with the outstanding claim position
Handles the computation of final settlement of dues and ensures that full recovery is made for any outstanding dues from the colleagues
Attends to audit queries and requirements for the purpose of audit Coordinates with the accounts department to pro actively plan and address these matters
Assists the Medical Director in personnel administration matters relating to appointment of medical doctors/consultants and also enrollment formalities for interns for CPS course and DNB Course
M. I. S.
Generates reports on attendance, leave etc. as required for establishing controls and monitoring purposes
Handles timely communications to employees and other colleagues on changes/matters involving income tax, profession tax, provident fund etc. to enable them to plan tax saving initiatives
Attends to employee grievances both orally and writing
Also attends to queries and communications from ex-employees on matters relating to tax deduction, settlement of dues, non-receipt of payment etc.
Maintains interface with colleagues in HR and participates in departmental communication meetings
Participates in training programmes and also internal customer feedback meetings
Requirements:
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Human Resources or equivalent
Desirable qulification:
Diploma in Management.
