The company is the leader in Industrial paints sector in India and has set distinguishing benchmarks as a customer centric paint service provider.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent would be responsible for
Overall functioning of Quality Control dept. as per laid down Quality systems
Initiate Quality Systems across various manufacturing units
Timely & proper resolution of customer complaints through testing of retain samples, customer line samples etc & giving value addition to Cross Functional Teams in complaint investigation process
Improvement in Quality Control functioning to minimize Quality failures.
Control of inspection, measuring & test equipment.
Corrective & preventive actions for nonconformity.
Interacting with suppliers on quality issues for proper resolution of deviations & carry out vendor audits
Control on quality of products made by out side processors by testing market samples & audits
Studying trend analysis related to Quality, bench mark monthly basis & take proper action for improvement jointly with Cross Functional Teams
Responsible for identifying training needs, review of the training imparted & guiding the persons working in department.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or Master of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Chemical or equivalent.
