Responsibilities:
Overall Purpose of the Job:
To maximise sales revenue throughout India and subcontinents.
Principal Accountabilities:
Delivering Area and where applicable personal sales targets, to maximise revenue.
Co-ordination between regional and company sales and marketing resources to exploit all opportunities.
Report on sales activities within the Area and progress to targets.
Provide technical input into other Business Development Managers respective territories where required.
Job Context and Main Activities:
First line consultant for The Group.
To manage and monitor performance of client accounts to ensure business targets are met.
To work closely with the Area, Regional and Product Line Managers.
To interpret and adapt the Business stream strategies to Area needs and local circumstances.
Prepare and submit bids in accordance with the requirements of the bidding instructions, except as otherwise agreed with the Region Manager – Business Development, Asia.
Support and advise in contract negotiations.
The review and reporting of sales activities.
The review, from a commercial perspective, of contracts.
To regularly liaise with the Global Account Managers.
Plan and execute regular and structured client visits.
Ensure that The is qualified for bid list acceptance on all upcoming bids.
Submit monthly sales and marketing Report.
Co-ordinate/arrange sales promotions and exhibitions.
Job Challenges:
Proposal generation.
Travelling throughout Geographical Area and beyond when necessary.
Sales presentations.
Database management.
Requirements:
10 – 15 years’ in a sales and management role.
Excellent communication skills.
Technical expertise in Surface & Environmental, Sub Sea or Cased Hole Mechanical background.
Computer literacy.
Excellent technical knowledge and knowledge of benefits of other product lines and products.
Good planning and time management skills.
Good written and spoken of the English language
Ability to work as part of a team and on own using initiative.
Ability to plan ahead and to organise within own responsibilities.
