JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
SHE & Quality
Basic appreciation of our requirements based on Unilever and industry standards at the workplace. Maintaining on-line control for quality monitoring and
initiating action for non-conformances.
On the job training of new recruits and in case of new procedures, techniques etc., for all employees.
Shift Operation Handling a total of 60 workmen in each shift. Working knowledge of independent handling of shift production, including managing of direct and indirect machine related employees. Team working and coordinating with colleagues and superiors for manpower, raw and packing materials to achieve production plans.
To develop inter-personal relationships and maintaining a good rapport with shift workmen. To motivate employees to achieve high output levels
while maintaining safety and quality norms.
Monitoring on-line packing material quality defects for raising claims.
Technical Working knowledge of belt / gear drives and their types, gear boxes, cams and cam followers, bearings, lubrication, fasteners and their tools.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and its application. Monitoring and controlling of technical efficiencies like raw and packing material over consumption to achieve the factory targets . Maintaining and improving machine efficiencies by attending to and resolving machine breakdowns in shifts. Ability to implement innovative solutions to
recurring problems. Active involvement in machine maintenance activities in co-ordination with
Engineering Officer by planning and attending maintenance duty on Sundays for ensuring completion of specific repairs/maintenance jobs which cannot
be carried out on working days.
Taking initiatives in Sheduling, quality and productivity related tasks.
Full knowledge of TPM and the activities required to be performed under each pillar. The candidate would be required to lead.
PREFERRED PROFILE
Educational Qualifications: Minimum – Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
Related work experience: Preferable – 2/3 years in packaging industry / factory as a shift in-charge.
Age Profile : 23 to 27 years
Language: Good in oral and written English. Working knowledge of Hindi.
Candidates with Knowledge of Gujarati will be preferred
Other skills: Achievement oriented by taking initiatives in routine
activities. Enthusiastic in handling / resolving routine problems.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.
Applicants must be willing to work in anywhere in India.
Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production
Operations or equivalent.
