Job Description:-
Overview
This immediate opening is for an experienced Automation Test engineer. You possess trouble shooting skills and have practical experience with QC automation tools and development experience with JAVA and JavaScript. You will ensure quality releases of the software through effective planning, design and implementation of automated test cases, automated test generation and maintenance of automation infrastructures.
You will provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing. You will be a creative and proactive thinker and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
You will review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.
You will work closely with other QC team members to automate the execution and verification of reports created by the various company products.
You will work closely with various Dev team members to understand testing objectives and ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
You will be part of a team focusing on automation of an identified set of migration tests, checking they run correctly and working within the infrastructure. The team would focus on develop and test these automation buckets which would be executed by other teams..
General Skills
Expected experience of 3 to 5 yrs
Strong technical skills with experience in enterprise class products testing.
Ability to mentor junior staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and drive results and excellent knowledge management

Technical Skills
This is a strong hands-on full technical role.
Passionate about testing and seeking a long term technical career in Automation & Testing.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in various phases of Testing of enterprise class products.
Strong educational background with Mtech/ME/BE/Btech/MCA/MCS.
MUST HAVE Technical Skills
Must have strong working knowledge of Unix (Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Linux). We need them to understand enough Unix to install, configure and troubleshoot products, third party apps, and our automation scripts OR Must have strong working knowledge of all flavors of Windows. We need them to understand at admin levels to install, configure and troubleshoot products, third party apps, and our automation scripts.
Must have experience coding with GUI automation tools like win runner, QTP would be ideal. Other tools like Visual Test, Selenium would also be acceptable or other parallel tools.
Must have shell Scripting, Batch scripting. (perl, python, sh/bash)
Must have Strong experience with Web Services and Web Service oriented architecture
Must have Java programming experience.
Must have JavaScript and HTML programming experience.
Must have Good working knowledge of Web related technologies (client/server, HTML, XML).
PLS note that the combinations of Java + Java script + Scripting(at least 1) + Automation tools is MUST combination.
